I chose the beauty industry because stylists get to spend their days making people look beautiful, and they get paid for it. What a great way to live! As an educator, I work 320 days a year and see four to five models a day. So I do about 1,280 haircuts a year.

Hairstyling has always come naturally for me. When I’m not traveling the country teaching advanced technical training to our stylists, I’m involved in producing the Regis educational videos and leading national and international hair design seminars.

I went to college for music first, then went to beauty school and fell passionately in love with it. Traveling the country to teach the latest in advanced technical training is definitely rewarding. I love to share with stylists what I’ve learned and to help stylists overcome challenges in the salon. It’s all about attitude and desire.

I travel the county for in-salon advanced training, but I like to teach stylists the basics, such as cut and color techniques. I also love to help stylists fine-tune their customer service skills. Providing great customer service is just as important as the cut and color.
